Halbig Machining Inc. can machine one off parts to your specs. To machine
custom parts we need to know what the part is going to look like. This
means we are going to need a detailed sketch with all necessary dimensions
on it. The best bet would be if you could send us a file in dxf format.
We can add details like engraving flames or something similar if you request
it. It is just important that you have a clear sketch, picture or drawing
of what you want. It is impossible to quote you without one. We can make
certain things without sketches you'd just have to discuss it with us.
In some cases you can ship us the part you need reproduced. A problem that
we've run into is someone will say I want a custom gas pedal for such and
such vehicle through an e-mail. If we don't have that vehicle it makes
it impossible for us. We need something to work from, either a print or
a part. This may all sound obvious but it will speed up your quote. One
last thing to remember . . . ONE OFF work is not production work. Your
quote will be calculated by the hours it will take to program, machine
and polish if applicable. Shop rate is $65.00 an hour, 1/2 hour minimum.
Here are a few examples of some pieces we have recently made. Some other
items we've made are supercharger links, billet gauge clusters, brackets.
We will keep adding pictures.
The prices are included to give you an idea of costs. If you buy more than
one piece the price will drop. It takes a lot of work to setup one part
so if you can get some friends together than you will all end up saving.
The more pieces you buy the cheaper the price will be per part.
